Jumanji: The Next Level - Exclusive Interview With The Rock and Kevin Hart

In JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL, the cast of the first movie returns for an epic adventure that remixes actors and characters while also introducing a whole new set of dangers and comedy concepts.

We spoke to stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart, who become the avatars of characters played by Danny DeVito and Danny Glover, respectively — and therefore get the chance to channel the style of those two actors. "We didn't talk about what we were going to do or how we were going to do it, in terms of performance, so when Kevin came on set and he transformed into Glover — because Glover is so distinct, his acting style and his cadence, he's so cool — Kevin killed it."

While sitting down with Awkwafina, Karen Gillan and Jack Black, meanwhile, Black explained that "I worked with the actors that I was imitating, and got their read on all of my lines, so I was able to study up, and that was the whole process for me."
