Hello, Love, Again continues Joy and Ethan’s love story. They engage in a long-distance relationship while still holding on to their promise of reuniting again. Determined to meet again, Ethan, in Hong Kong, and Joy, in Canada, strive to improve their lives. But their distant lives and different goals test their relationship. Eventually, the weight of these challenges becomes too much to bear, and they make the heart-wrenching decision to part ways. At present, Ethan and Joy unexpectedly say their hellos once more this time in Canada. Initially acting as strangers, they soon realize they are destined to cross paths repeatedly. One day, Joy discovers that a woman offers Ethan a common law path way to expedite his permanent residency application. Out of irrational jealousy, Joy volunteers herself in exchange for money. As they live together and rediscover each other, they navigate the complexities of their new arrangement and the new people they have become.
